The team
Made by Kyle Slate and two friends: one came up with the idea, the other came up with the name, and both beta tested. More on the About page.

NFL: nflverse
NFL data from nflverse (github.com/nflverse/nflverse-data), modified.

MLB: Lahman Baseball Database
The MLB data files (legends_mlb.json, legends_mlb_more.json, players_mlb.json) are adapted from the Lahman Baseball Database, copyright 1996-2025 by SABR, via donation from Sean Lahman (sabr.org/lahman-database). We selected fields, combined them with Chadwick and Retrosheet data and generated hint sentences. The adapted files are licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 and can be downloaded at balltelligence.com/data/.
